Tiger Marketing
Who are you and what do you do?
I’m Louise Stevenson, founder of Tiger Marketing, a full-service creative marketing agency dedicated to helping businesses stand out and ROAR louder.
Since 2013, we’ve helped brands be seen, be heard, and most importantly, be remembered.
I founded Tiger with a simple goal. Work with brilliant people, push boundaries, deliver exceptional results, and have fun doing it all.
Everything begins by understanding who a brand truly is. We uncover what sets them apart, sharpen their messaging, and bring it to life through strategic, creative marketing that connects with the right audience, on the right channels, at the right time.
Give us an insight into you as a person…
I’m a chartered marketer with more than twenty years of experience and an unapologetic love for bold ideas, sharp messaging, and beautifully executed strategy.
I’m naturally organised, slightly obsessive about detail (yes, I will spot that typo), and endlessly curious about what makes people think, feel, and buy. Psychology fascinates me, which is why I love helping clients uncover what they really want to say, even when they are not quite sure themselves.
I’m fiercely proud of the Tigers, passionate about supporting women in business, would say my greatest strength is communication and my superpower is listening. (Also, dad jokes crack me up!)
What makes Tiger Marketing different?
One simple philosophy shapes everything we do. No two tigers have the same stripes, and no two clients receive the same solution.
In more than a decade, we have never offered off-the-shelf packages or recycled campaigns. Every strategy, every idea, and every creative direction is built from scratch around the individual business, its audience, and its goals.
We look at the science behind the marketing: we combine research with a deep understanding of what a business stands for and wants to achieve. The result is marketing that is distinctive, authentic, and impossible to replicate.
What does a typical week look like for you?
Every day is different, because all our clients are different. From steel fabricators to designer watches, from baby changing mats to solar energy, from women’s fashion to fuel.
One week we could be interviewing an astronaut, another we’re hand-sealing bespoke invitations with wax. From photographing live events, attending topping-out ceremonies for new property developments, or brainstorming advertising campaigns.
We don’t have a typical week; life at Tiger is often unusual and unpredictable, but always busy, fun, and packed with hard work – exactly how we like it.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
Seeing clients get excited about their marketing!
Giving business owners confidence and helping bridge the gap between what they want to achieve and how they make it happen. Bringing their entire teams on the marketing journey, building buy-in, and helping businesses elevate to the next level.
Taking a business from good to great is exactly why we do what we do. It’s ROARsome!
Have there been any standout moments in your journey?
For me personally, the real standout moments are always the internal ones.
Nothing beats seeing the delight on my Tigers’ faces when clients come back full of praise, or when we run performance reports and can clearly see the impact of our work. Watching the team feel proud of what they have created and delivered is genuinely one of the most rewarding parts of running the agency.
Of course, we also love the unexpected surprises along the way. We discovered that HubSpot had listed Tiger Marketing as one of the Top Green Websites on their platform. That was a fantastic and completely unanticipated piece of recognition, and a lovely reminder that the work we put into our brand and digital presence does not go unnoticed.
Why Freedom Works?
Freedom Works has become far more than just a workplace for us. It’s genuinely home from home. Partly because of how we have made the space our own, but mostly because of the atmosphere, the people, and the community. Being with other businesses has naturally led to collaborations and new client relationships, which is exactly what a great coworking environment should do.
We were the first team to move into The Mill Building when it opened in 2016, and Freedom Works has become a huge part of our story since. Their ethos of ‘more than a roof over your head’ is very true with their partnership with Barclays Eagle Labs – and in 2024 I proudly won Female Founder of the Year for Outstanding Contribution. A huge privilege and a fantastic reflection of the journey we have been on.
Wow, that’s awesome – did that help with business?
Yes, it opened the door to a several speaking opportunities and expert panels (one being back with Barclays Eagle Labs in 2025), and the chance to connect with inspiring founders.
It also led to an unforgettable VIP experience at an Arsenal Women’s match where I met Ian Wright and won a £90 bet.
Tell us about your workspace
Well, to suit our Tigers, our office could only be one thing… a jungle!
It’s painted a deep velvet green, has grass on the walls, plants everywhere and the mural Tiger in a Tropical Storm by Henri Rousseau features on our main wall. It is an environment that feels alive, energising, distinctive, and is very much aligned with who we are as a business.
What is next for Tiger Marketing?
We’re continuing to integrate AI tools into our business to ensure we remain efficient, resourceful, and smart with our time. We’re also helping our clients use AI effectively while ensuring their brand, voice, and messaging remain distinctive rather than turning into carbon copies of others in their market.
At the same time, we’re doubling down on something AI simply cannot replace: strategy. clear positioning, brand thinking, and strategic direction still require human insight and experience. Without that foundation, businesses risk becoming indistinguishable from their competitors. And we’re not going to let that happen on our watch!
