Astral Towers

Freedom Works plans to open site number 8, bringing flexible working to the iconic Astral Towers on Manor Royal
in Crawley, later on, this year. Providing offices from 2 desks to custom fit-outs for 100+ desks!

The distinctive glass-clad building, a long-recognized landmark of the Crawley and Gatwick office market, has been
reinvigorated with new branding and extensive remodeling of the reception and common areas. Some would say it’s
the dawn of a new era at Astral Towers.

A stunningly remodeled, light, and expansive reception creates a stylish entrance to seven floors of flexible well-arranged
office accommodation. The building owners have invested in the highest quality upgrades to create an environment that is
already impressing both occupiers and their clients alike. Many leading UK businesses have already seen the potential
of Astral Towers. Current occupiers British Airways Holidays, Avios, Tesco, Concur, Elekta, Sulzer, Snap Aerdata, and Westcon,
while more than 2,000 businesses are located in Crawley and Manor Royal including BT, Thales, Doosan Babcock, Tui Holidays, Rentokil PLC, Edwards, and Virgin.

Whats Happening?

Freedom Works have already secured a fantastic number of founding members, for when they open at Astral Towers, which are a combination of returning members and new ones. As Freedom Works are custom building offices in the new space for businesses wanting to come on board, it gives the benefit of flexible terms, which of course is in high demand given the last 19 months facing a pandemic, especially for start-ups, small businesses, or really any businesses within the local community.

Jon Trigg, Freedom Works Founder, and Managing Director, comments “Having left The Office in February this year as it was being knocked down we vowed that we would be back to our members and the local business community”.

After relocating in the Crawley area, Freedom Works is eager to maintain the community spirit it started with, helping create a hive of activity for local businesses to grow and scale-up out of the last 20 months.

“We believe in Crawley and the local Gatwick Diamond community, and although the decision to leave our original home, ‘The Office’, was out of our hands – we have worked hard to ensure we open up again to provide a home for businesses to collaborate and grow from within Crawley and the wider area” he adds.

Astral Towers presents a more corporate space than the traditional Freedom Works buildings and spaces, which allows us to attract SMEs and corporates alongside our traditional start-up and scale-up business.  The focus on collaboration and community will remain the same, with it being the heart of what Freedom Works does. With this, it’s a fantastic way of building those relationships within communities and breaking the status quo of the corporate world.

We’re extremely excited about opening up at Astral Towers and believe that the combination of a first-class office, regular shuttle buses to the airport and station, and the Freedom Works value of collaborative community focus will be an exciting start for the area.

Additionally, the private minibus service, which runs throughout the day between Gatwick Airport, Crawley, and the building, gives access to restaurants ranging from Ask and TGI Fridays to coffee bars like Nero and Costa. For those wanting an on-site option for lunch, break times, or exercise, there is a Tesco Express and a New Snap Fitness Gym 24-7.
